CENTRAL TUNISIA (Sousse - Monastir - Mahdia)

Central Tunisia (Sousse-Monastir-Mahdia) is a popular place to organize incentive programs.

First of all, because of the lucky disposition of these resort zones: in the city of Monastir there is an international airport - one of seven international airports of the country; it receives all the charter flights from Russia.

Sousse is a noisy and amazing town which can be recommended for groups inclined to sportive rest and active night life. 5 km northward from Sousse there is a successfully realized great tourist project - the resort complex of Port El Kantaoui.

"El Mouradi Congres Centre" is located in the very centre of Port El Kantaoui; it is the largest congress-centre of the resort. The congress-centre is well equipped for events of the highest level. The main conference-hall is designed for 1 500 persons sitting in an amphitheatre. Additionally, there are seven more halls for clients with the capacity from 35 up to 100 persons each, as well as congress-halls and meeting rooms of the adjacent hotel El Mouradi.

Monastir is a cozy port, significant university and tourist centre. There is a wonderful complex of Thalassa Monastir 4* lux with 250 rooms, which is the most popular hotel of this resort zone. The unbelievable popularity of this hotel and, accordingly, the quality of its services are clear from the fact that its all-year capacity is not less than 90%. The conference-hall of the hotel stores up to 400 guests. Besides, there are two more halls for 50 persons each and a wonderful spot "Le Pergola" for cocktail parties and banquets in the open air for the number of guests up to 350.

Mahdia is one of southern resorts of Tunisia. Beaches of rare beauty with the finest white sand put Mahdia aside of all the other resorts of the country. We would recommend it for a traveling conference especially pointing the following hotels: Vincci Nour Palace 5* è El Mouradi Mahdia 5*. These adjacent hotels can provide 900 comfortable rooms in general. The conference-hall of the hotel Vincci Nour Palace stores up to 1 100 persons, the conference-hall of the hotel El Mouradi Mahdia - up to 600 persons.

Possibilities of the towns of Tunisian Sahel (Sousse-Monastir-Mahdia) are various and will provide the realization of the most original ideas. They can organize a noisy and democratic party or a classic gala-dinner with the strict dress-code in almost all the sets according the desire of clients: inside the gorgeous Roman Colosseum of the town of El Jem, or on board of  a pirate ship ready to invite from 70 up to 150 guests, or in the royal golf-club "El Kantaoui Golf Course" located on the top of the so called Prestigious Hill.

"Emira City" is an entertainment complex in Port El Kantaoui; it is an excellent spot for merry parties.

There is a restaurant with a panoramic view in the golf fields, a great Berber tent and the discotheque "Rediguana". The Berber tent stores up to 1 500 guests. You will have a chance to enjoy with national cuisine and a magnificent folk performance. Later you can go to the discotheque "Rediguana" which stores up to 600 guests at once. There are two bars and rhythmic improvisations from famous DJ - leaders of the genre.

In Port El Kantaoui any event (cocktail-party, party a la fourchette, dinner, award ceremony or anything else) can be organized in the centre of the resort complex - in the marina built after ancient Mediterranean towns: an artificial haven encircled with small bungalows in the Moresque style. During the whole year there up to 300 yachts and sea cutters here which provide a special romantic atmosphere for your meeting.

The main historical attraction of Monastir is Ribat Hartem - it is a fortification of the 7th cent., which was a part of a mighty fortress that protected the town in the Middle Ages; it is an ideal spot for a festival dinner or an award ceremony. Coming upward to a high tower by steep winding stairs, you can see an unusual panorama of the town and of the sea-shore as well.
In Mahdia there is everything to make your rest comfortable and pleasant: immense white beaches of the Africa Cape, crystal-clear sea and a developed infrastructure of the resort. An official dinner in the old fortress or just in a paved street of the medieval town will remain forever in the memory of all the members of your delegation.
